Hello There!

 HI!! I’m Jewels and I ADORE natural, relaxed, minimally edited photography! (Photoshop will never touch any of my portraits!!)

I love the art of photography, the beauty of it, the challenge of it, the FUN of it, and every aspect of constantly learning about it! I started studying photography in 2012 when my older kids were small and I couldn't afford most portrait photography options. I tagged along and learned from many area photographers over the years, taken many online courses, and continue as a student of "well that didn't work as I thought it would" as well as "WOW that worked out amazing-can't wait to do that again!"

I love the art of photography, the beauty of it, the challenge of it, the FUN of it, meeting new families, and continuing to capture families who have become family as they grow through the years!

I am a small town living, coffee addict who loves to shop at thrift/antique stores as well as online Amazon or Target, and really anywhere there is a bargain! I am a very proud single Mom of 3 amazing kids and 3 grand kids who are my world, I love to multi-task and rarely have down time...which I’m perfectly ok with! The busier my life is, the happier I am! When you see me out and about I am wearing minimal to no make-up, I have simple sneakers on, and I am either wearing a hoodie & jeans or a t-shirt & jeans--which the jeans have typically been thrifted and the hoodies probably came from other small business woman in the area or are school related--or both!

I am as simple as they come, but I am a crazy perfectionist when it comes to your portraits!!

I love having fun with people, being dorky, coming up with new session ideas & locations, making people laugh and showing off their true smiles & laughter. My portrait sessions are always relaxed and fun because the more fun we have together the more amazing your portraits will be!

I am crazy honored to be trusted to capture moments for you that will last a lifetime as art in your home and as great memories in your heart! When you look at your portraits, you will smile remembering how much bribery went into those kids before you arrived, how much fun you had when you got there, and realizing when it was all over it really was fun and you stressed for nothing!!

As a photographer I am asking high school Seniors, couples, new parents, and families who are sometimes in some of the most stressful times of your life to trust me with capturing the beauty, the love, the fun & laughter, those simple moments & the special occasions that mean the most to you!
